Singapore is widely known as a multinational congregation. Its members come from 13 different countries. District Apostle Urs Hebeisen and District Apostle Helper Edy Isnugroho together with Apostle Fred Wolf on Sunday, August 12, 2018 served the congregation there. A meeting with the Malaysian ministers on Saturday began the visit in Singapore.
The District Apostle used the passage from Hebrews 10:35-37 as the basis of his last service in Singapore. We as children of God have heard the promise of the return of the Lord long ago and to this day it has not happened yet.
Let us not give up our confidence and endure in the waiting,
District Apostle admonished the congregation.
Endurance means waiting actively: fighting against sin and strive to become more like the image of the Lord. Let’s also pray for the work of the Apostles, and hold fast to our hope. The District Apostle said in the end of his ministration,
“The Lord will come soon! And we will receive what is promised: being the bride of the Lord. God wants us to become what He created us for”
-He who is coming will come and will not tarry-
