Fast forward to 2024, the Singapore congregation has a new place of worship. The Clan Hotel is now the venue, replacing the Ibis Bencoolen Hotel that has been used for the past few years. It is God’s will that the work of God in Singapore should continue.
For this reason, Apostle Fred Wolf who oversees the Singapore congregation came on Sunday, January 14, 2024, and dedicated this place for divine services.
‘I feel in need to invite God to dwell in this place, and to make this place a place of worship,’ he said just before the act of dedication.
But this was not the only reason for him to come to Singapore. A historic act was also performed at this service: two of our sisters received the authority and mandate as Deaconess to help God’s work in Singapore.
Sister Katrin and Sister Raquel were ordained in the service which 31 souls attended. The message of the divine service was also touching for the two ordained Deaconess but also for all those present, where the Apostle used the text from John 13:15 “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.”
