Large congregations join to attend the Good Friday service, April 10, 2020 with District Apostle Edy Isnugroho. More than 4,500 points of reception throughout Southeast Asia and even overseas took part in this service through YouTube and Facebook live.

Jesus Christ came to serve mankind.
Our Bible text comprises the conclusion of a passage in which the mother of two of Jesus’ disciples asks Him to give them a prominent position in the kingdom of God. Jesus denies this request and explains that it is up to God alone to assign such special honours. Here He speaks of His mission, which is not comprised of receiving or bestowing honours, but rather of helping mankind. The arrival of the Son of Man was expected by many Jews. We have experienced a divine service without walls and borders last Sunday. Hundreds of thousands of New Apostolic families joined the divine service via streaming. Restricted access, bans on assemblies, lockdowns: in the past two weeks, activity in our church buildings in one country after another has ground to a halt on account of the corona crisis. This year they gathered during last weekend from 17-19 January 2020 in Jakarta.
